Glenbrooke Daycare is a non-profit daycare located in the Glenbrooke neighbourhood of New Westminster, BC. We have been a proud member of the community for over 14 years. Our childcare center offers programs for children in the following groups: Infants & Toddlers, Preschool, Kindercare and Before & Afterschool.
Glenbrooke Daycare provides a childcare service which relies on a professional and collaborative relationship between parents, childcare providers and the children themselves.

After visiting several daycares in New Westminster, I found a true home for my daughter at Glenbrooke. She was only 2 years old, in diapers, and didn’t speak English, but the staff embraced her like family from the start. They were always attentive to her needs and celebrated her milestones with us.
The facilities may be simple, but they’re perfect for the kids, with a wonderful backyard that my daughter loved. The weekly outings to parks, the library, and the mall made every week special.
Glenbrooke made learning fun and focused on socialization and good values. Potty training and Kindergarten prep were handled with care, always respecting her pace.
We’ve spent two amazing years here, and I’m so grateful for the memories my daughter has made. She’s now ready for Kindergarten, and I couldn’t be happier with our experience!
Our Philosophy
At Glenbrooke Daycare, we believe in community first and meeting the ever evolving needs of our member families. Our Parents and staff believe in supporting one another to provide early childhood care that will set the foundation for children to be confident, curious, and capable in their lives.
We believe in offering safe, stimulating, and joyful environments that allow children to try out things, follow their natural curiosity, have multiple opportunities to take risks, and celebrate their achievements. We believe that children learn best through play. We understand that play allows children to make connections between the things they encounter in their world such as people, nature, places, and materials, learn through interactions with their environment, explore different ideas, and be creative. We believe that every child is entitled to be given the opportunity to develop personal responsibility and social skills, to learn to problem-solve and to learn about the uniqueness of others. Each child is recognized as a unique individual who brings his or her own gifts to the program and deserves to be given encouragement and space to try new things, explore new ideas and develop their own unique creativity.
At Glenbrooke Daycare, we also value our staff and respect their skills and commitment to their profession. We also believe in staff accountability and responsibility. Hence, we adhere to the Early Childhood Educators of BC Code of Ethics and ensure ongoing professional development for our team.
Our Staff
The Glenbrooke Daycare team includes certified Early Childhood Educators, Early Childhood Education Assistants, Infant and Toddler Educators, Special Needs Educators, and Responsible Adults. As childcare professionals, our staff have the necessary training, experience and screening to deliver high-quality programs including a BC Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening, Standard First Aid certification, and a License to Practice in BC. Our team is committed to ongoing learning. All members of the Glenbrooke Daycare Team are dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in our care.
